Your CNC spindle is running at extremely high RPM. There's a couple things you can do to help extend the life of the spindle and its bearings along with the tools and accessories mounted to it during production. (especially if your running evap coolers in your shop that inject moisture into the environment)
Reducing your RPM will go a long way in extending spindle life; we recommend a top speed of 16 to 18 thousand RPM.
Next on the list? Keeping your spindle pocket, tool holder and accessories as clean and rust-free as possible! Our CNC Maintenance Kit will keep them clean and lubricated, extending their life measurably.

Todays CNC routers with automatic tool changers have become the standard in factories and job shops. Most operators do not have the knowledge to know why it is necessary to replace their tooling or the experience to tell when it is time to do so.
When evaluating whether a tool holder is worn, first check the tapered part of the tool holder where it contacts the spindle.
The collet pocket must be cleaned and free of oil, dust and dirt.
Collet maintenance is very simple when compared to the tool holder. Collets must always be kept clean and free of dust and debris when changing the cutting tool. If there is any damage to the outside or inside diameter of the collet, it must be replaced.
In order for a tool holder to remain balanced it must have a balanced nut attached to it...
Collets and Nuts should be replaced twice a year.
